Terms & Conditions / Parent Agreement
By registering your child in FERR’s Little Explorers Summer Enrichment Program, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:
1. Program Enrollment & Payment

Full payment is required to reserve your child’s spot unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

Enrollment is first-come, first-served due to limited group sizes.
-
Weekly tuition covers program activities only during regular program hours.
-
Optional field trips may require additional fees unless otherwise stated.
2. Drop-Off & Pick-Up Policy

Parents/guardians agree to:
-
Drop off children promptly at the designated program location.
-
Pick up children on time at the end of each program day.
-
Sign children in and out daily.
-
Children will only be released to authorized adults listed on registration forms.
-
Late pick-up fees may apply if applicable.
3. Field Trip Policy
FERR’s Little Explorers offers optional educational field trips as part of select themed weeks.
By registering, parents understand and agree that:

Parents are responsible for transporting their child to and from the designated field trip location.

Drop-off and pick-up must occur directly at the field trip destination.
-
Specific field trip details, times, and locations will be communicated in advance.
-
If a parent chooses not to have their child participate in a scheduled field trip, no refunds, credits, or prorated adjustments will be provided.

If a child misses any regular camp day for personal reasons, illness, vacation, or scheduling conflicts, no refunds will be issued.
4. Weather / Rain / Thunderstorm Policy
Florida weather can change quickly, and safety is our priority.
In the event of:

Severe thunderstorms
-
Lightning
-
Unsafe outdoor conditions
-
Venue closures caused by weather
-
FERR’s Little Explorers reserves the right to cancel programming for the day.
If a full-day cancellation occurs due to severe weather conditions:
Parents will receive a refund for that canceled day.
If weather conditions allow for safe indoor accommodations or an alternate activity plan, the program may continue as scheduled.
5. Illness & Medical Responsibility
FERR’s Little Explorers offers optional educational field trips as part of select themed weeks.
By registering, parents understand and agree that:

6. Behavior Expectations
To maintain a safe environment, children are expected to:

Follow staff instructions

Respect peers, staff, animals, and property

Participate safely in activities
Repeated unsafe or disruptive behavior may result in dismissal from the program without refund.
7. Personal Belongings
Parents are responsible for sending children with:

Packed lunch
-
Water bottle
-
Weather-appropriate clothing
-
Sunscreen (applied before arrival if needed)
-
Any required personal items
FERR’s Little Explorers is not responsible for lost, damaged, or misplaced belongings.
8. Photo & Media Release
Parents grant permission for photos/videos of program activities to be used for:

Social media
-
Marketing materials
-
Website promotions
unless written notice is provided opting out. Children's identities. profile will always remain private.
Assumption of Risk
Parents understand that participation includes outdoor activities, recreational movement, hands-on projects, farm visits, nature exploration, and community field trips.
While safety precautions are always taken, parents acknowledge there are inherent risks involved in participation.
10. Refund Policy
Refunds will only be issued for:

Program cancellations initiated by FERR’s Little Explorers
-
Severe weather/thunderstorm cancellations
-
Situations approved at management discretion
No refunds will be issued for:
-
Missed camp days
-
Missed field trips
-
Voluntary withdrawal after the program begins
-
Scheduling conflicts
11. Parent Agreement
By completing the registration and permission slip, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions and understand that FERR’s Little Explorers operates as a structured educational enrichment program.
